The Arts Society Malvern Hills (formerly the Malvern Hills Decorative and Fine Arts Society) is a local society affiliated to the Arts Society, formerly known as the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS). Click here for the website of the national Arts Society UK.
Our aims are to help members gain knowledge of the Decorative and Fine Arts through a regular programme of lectures and presentations, supplemented by trips, visits and group activities in a sociable and enjoyable way, whilst fostering, when possible, an interest in Fine Arts among young people.
If you would like to join the Society for this season (August 26 to July 27) please complete this application form or contact the Membership Secretary.
Visits
Our visits are coach tours from Malvern usually starting at about 9am and returning about 6pm. Further details and application forms may be found under Future Visits
Days of Special Interest
These comprise a number of talks over the course of a day, which allow for a much deeper understanding on a specific topic. Further details may be found on the Special Interest page.
Other activities with which our members are involved include stewarding (at Little Malvern Court, when open to the public), textile and book conservation (see the Heritage Volunteering page) and working with young people in a number of settings (see the Community Arts page).
